Uusia virkailijoitta

Hallituksen toiminta
Hallitus jakoi vastuualueet hallituksen jäsenille. Päätettiin myös tulevien kokouksien kokouskäytännöistä.
Tapahtumatoimikunta: matala kynnys tapahtumien järjestämiselle
Tulevana vuotena tapahtumatoimikunta (TTK) tulee käsittelemään sekä tulevat että menneet tapahtumat. Jos siis keksit tapahtumaidean, tuo se esille tapahtumatoimikunnalle. TTK:n tavoitteena on tehdä tapahtumien järjestämisestä helpompaa ja vähentää tapahtuman järjestämisen kynnystä.

Area of responsibility of the board members
The board chose the area of responsibility for the board members. The board also chose the practices for the upcoming meetings.
The event committee: easy way to organize events
This year the event committee will take care of the events, both upcoming and past. If you have an idea for an event, bring it to the event committee. The goal of the event committee is to make organizing events easier.

Hallitus kokousti sähköpostitse vuodenvaihteessa.
Järkon päätösten vahvistaminen
Koska hallitus ei ollut järjestäytymiskokouksessa päätösvaltainen, vahvistettiin kokouksessa kaikki ensimmäisen kokouksen päätökset. Kokouksessa myönnettiin myös Klusteriavaimia vuodelle 2024.

The board had a meeting via email after the New year.
Confirming the decisions of the organizing meeting
Since the board didn't have the quorum during the organizing meeting, the board confirmed all the decisions made in the organizing meeting. The board also granted Klusteri keys for the year 2024.

Johtoryhmän kokous
Johtoryhmä on kokoustanut. Kokouksessa keskusteltiin muun muassa Unituben käyttökatkosta, joka oli tenttiviikolla, Examinarium tentteihin kirjautumisen edistämisestä, tekoälyn käytöstä kursseilla (katso yliopiston ohjeet), maisterikurssien englantipainoituuden parantamisesta sekä kanditutkinnon alkupäänkurssien arvosanojen korvaamista hyväksytty/hylätty asteikolla.

Valokuvaus tulevissa tapahtumissa
TKO-älyn tapahtumissa tulee jatkossa liikkumaan valokuvaaja. Jos et halua tulla valokuvatuksi, ota yhteyttä valokuvaajaan tai tapahtuman järjestäjään. Valokuvauksesta tullaan vielä tiedottamaan jäsenistöä laajasti.
Tietosuojaselosteiden päivittäminen
TKO-älyn tietosuojaselostetta tullaan päivittämään laajasti ja monille TKO-älyn sivuille ja palvelimille tullaan lisäämään tietosuojaselosteet.
Häirintäyhdyshenkilöiden sivu on päivitetty!
TKO-älyn vuoden 2024 häirintäyhdyshenkilöt on lisätty häirintäyhdyshenkilöiden sivulle. Kokouksessa päätettiin, että häirintäyhdyshenkilöiden sivulle lisätään Ville Davidssonin yhteystiedot. Hän on valmiina ottamaan yhteydenottoja TKO-älyn jäsenistöltä ja toimintaan osallistuvilta. Hän ei kuitenkaan osallistu anonyymien palautteiden lukemiseen tai muuhun häirintäyhdyshenkilötoimintaan.

Did you not get enough from the orientation week? Do you want to help the new freshers to get a great start in the university? Apply to become a tutor, you can apply until the 4th of February!
The faculty steering group's meeting
The steering group of the faculty had a meeting. The break of Unitube was one of the topics discussed, since the platform wasn't available during the exam week. Another topic of discussion were ways of making logging in to Examinarium exams easier. The usage of AI in courses was also discussed (see the university's guideline). The university also wants to improve the language accessibility of the masters courses to have more of them also available in Finnish. Lastly, one of the topics was getting rid of the grading system in the Batchelor's program and replace it with pass/fail system.

In the future events there will be a photographer. If you don't want to be taken pictures of, please inform the photographer or the event organizer. There will be more information about the topic soon.
Updating the privacy polisies
TKO-äly's privacy policies will be updated and many of TKO-äly's platforms will get a new privacy policy.
The Harrassment contact persons page has been updated!
The new harrasment contact persons' information has been updated to the harrasment contact persons page. The board decided to add the contact info of Ville Davidsson to the page as well. Ville is ready to be contacted from TKO-äly's members and people attending TKO-äly's events. Ville won't be part of handeling the anonymous feedback or other harrassment contact peoples duties.
